The Lion’s Pride: Networking

Give a Little to Get a Little

You've probably heard - or even said - at least one of these phrases. Their essence is the same - you have to give to get. The same is true with networking, as well.

Yes, you want a job or maybe even a better job. Most will be happy, for the most part, to help you out in that regard.

Unless you're a mooch. A taker.

Then the spring of help will, sooner than later, dry up.

You have contacts and knowledge. Share these with your network freely. Share just as freely as you expect to get from your network.

IN THE CARAVAN: Networking is not an "only take" endeavor.
